What we share, and what we don’t.
This page is updated monthly and PGP-signed. If it stops updating, assume our position has changed.
We do not share anything with law enforcement.
No mail content. No metadata. No contact lists. Nothing that could identify a person using LatinaMail is handed to any third party on request.
The only thing we store is a connection serial.
A connection serial is a random internal identifier used to notice network-layer trouble. It is useless on its own — it maps to nothing without the private keys only LatinaMail’s security team can access. Third parties cannot view it.
We terminate accounts that abuse the network.
Spam, phishing, malware — shut down. Protecting the inbox of everyone else means not hosting the infrastructure that burns it for them.
If you present a valid warrant, we ask you to prove it.
Data breaches regularly leak scanned warrants and badge photos. Before we open a warrant we require:
- Government-issued photo ID of each named officer
- Verifiable proof of current employment at the requesting agency
- A live video call with our legal counsel for authenticity
After all that — the only artifact is the connection serial above. Everything else is encrypted with keys we don’t hold.
What happens when things get spicy.
“What if you get sued?”
Honestly? We’ll ignore it. We don’t give a fuck. Our jurisdiction, our rules. Even with a cooperation order on paper, the only thing we hold is a useless connection serial.
“What if your domains get seized?”
We’ll just move. We hold a stack of backup domains across different registrars and TLDs. If one gets torched, mail resumes on another within the hour.
“What if the address I sign up with gets seized?”
We’ve got you. If you used a LatinaMail address with a third-party service and that service pulls it on you, we’ll contact the provider directly to get your data back.
